Mikuni Needle Jet - for UK spec Z1000 MKII

Anyone got a Mikuni Needle jet - 258 O-1
was Kawasaki Part no. 16017-1011
Needs to be in good condition with no wear / pitting of the internal bore.

What is this then , an emulsion tube or a needle jet or both
Always called it an emulsion tube , am i totally confused , what day is it

Hi Geoff,
That's the emulsion tube.
The needle jet is sat above that & is a press fit in the carb body.
When you remove the slide & look down into the carb the needle jet is the brass bit that the needle goes down through.
You tap it from the slide side & it drops out at the bottom of the carb from where you removed the emulsion tube from.
Hopefully the no. on it will be 258 O-1

Cheers Nick and z1bman i have caught up now and am on the right page
I have just removed one Nick and its number is 258 0-1 , i'll post all four of them to you on monday ,
choose the one you like best and send the rest back mate .
