Hi folks
Have been having a nightmare getting a nos speedo cable to fit on my re-build 650. Seemed too short.
Turns out I got the wrong brake hose/ speedo cable bracket fitted off the B2 when I should have the part above which is 650B1, Z1, early Z1000 etc. with the front mount caliper.

I know Z Power have repro ones but has anyone here got a nos one or a new repro they don't need that they would sell or swap for something else?

I studied the original sales ads for B1 and B2 and you can see the different bracket on the forward caliper model.
The later bracket pulls the speedo cable farther back which makes the correct one appear a couple of cm too short.

I wonder if I was running a Z1000A1 speedo cable or something and didn't know it - cos the old one was longer and so fitted ok.
