Fuel filter

#1 PostAuthor: DaveZ1 » Mon Jan 30, 2012 8:11 pm

Hi all, I am looking for one of those small plastic filters that fits on the fuel tap in the tank.
There are two one for the main one for the reserve, I took the tap off the tank and one of
them is missing. Dont believe you can buy just a filter and dont fancy forking out for a
complete new tap.
Cheers, Dave

Hi Guys
If you can't source one from kawa I am told that lawn mowers use a similar filter (the petrol ones :!: )
So try your nearest mower repair/ service centre.
If the plastic filter is loose on the tube my tip was to run some solder round the top of the tube until it is snug.
Cheers from Mark

here is the mower filter,H**** gx range .Image.
sorry if pic is a bit big,way to technical for me to change, the rubber collar helps hold the filter in place as not a perfect fit in tap hole.
