Hi Gus. Long shots do pay off some times!
I have a pair of Z1100R 18'' wheels which have sat in my garage for the last 5 years. I bought them with the intention of fitting them to my Z1000R, but still haven't got round to it and maybe never will.
The previous owner had them painted green with a polished rim and they're fitted with a pair of Metzler tyres, hardly any wear but I'm not sure how old the rubber is.
I know these are like rocking horse poo, so you'd have to make a sensible offer for me to part with them.
You're welcome to come and have a look, or ring me on 01293 452233.
Regards, Peter.

				Hi Dave.
I've been talking to Peter regarding the wheels. I may need a couple of other items as well which I assume are going to be UNOBTANIUM

That may be the deciding factor of wether to standardise or BASTARDISE it.

Cheers
Gus

Gus,how about using the 18" GPz750/1100 front wheel

They've got the same disc mounting PCD as Yamaha YZF/R1/R6.

				Hi Jack and Adrian.
The bike has a 19 inch wheel in it already from a J or GPZ.
I'm trying to determine wether to try and get all the standard parts (if that is possible) to return it to standard or, accept the fact that the parts are all too expensive or, not available, and do something else.
Thanks for the suggestions guys much appreciated.
I would like to know what other things on the front end are different if anybody can tell me or, point me in the right direction.
Cheers tha noo.

Until about two years ago I had two of them. I sold obne for a real lot of money, but the guy - with a J model - wanted to let make it wider...
I really don´t know if he did...
May be I could contact and ask him...
But I am sure, IF he would sell, he wants the same I got from him.
Cheers

				Hi Jack
I will have another look this weekend and try to decipher what is fitted to it now.
On looking through the web, parts lists etc. I think that the Z1100R forks are different and the mudguard.
Sorry for being vague I was trying to get the ball rolling early.
I'm led to believe from Kano's site that the Z1000R2 and the Z1100R are essentially the same, apart from the motor and whatever front end parts are required for the 18" front wheel.
Unless people know different

Cheers Jack
Gus
