Hi, can you post a pic of the square one you have please. I am interested in my friends Z1000j but it has a round tank fitted to it as it is a Canadian bike and it just does not look right on a J IMHO.
Thanks

Hi Mr t,
The bike its off is actually a gpz1100b1 in red and black. ill take some pictures if you want but it will be tomorrow,
this link isnt my bike or tank but it will give you an idea what its like, mine does need painting, though it can be used as it is, depends how fussy you are, it is the same colour as the pictures.

Look for one of a Z1100ST.
It's not exactly the same, but very close. (A bit bigger actually).
All the other stuff on the Z1100ST tank is a straight swap!
Cheers,
Greg

Double check ebay...I think some people might mis-label them as Z1000 LTD tanks. I'm sure they are a lot longer than 'proper' LTD tanks. It might be worth posting a picture so wecan keep an eye open for one.

The difference between a LTD or Police tank and an US-J Tank is the fact, that the J tank has this little thingy that is going through the rubber bit on the frame, whereas the LTD or Police tank have a hole.
So, all you have to do (if faced with a possible fuel tank), is to request a shot from the bottom, this way you also don't have to tell the seller, that the fuel tank is possibly rather rare overhere and worth something...
