Has anybody got any 320, 315 & 310 large shims they want to sell
(to fit z900/z1000) I can just about get my finger in the gap with a 280 shim in.

looking at the shim sizes you are after i would guess that the valve stems have been ground down + could have serious consequences if the valve collects decide to let go

I am putting a mates motor together for him, the head was in poor condition with three goosed valves (not bent, but badly dished seat area) the other valves had been shortened, but still within tolerance (above the collets) the engine is in overall good condition, but there is only so much I can do because he will not spend any money on it other than what is absolutely necessary.

320 shims are the largest Kawasaki made available. Ask Jerry what he has for swaps
