I have a 1978 xt500 mint, full resoration in feb this year, it was imported from the states but is a british bike, just took a while to come home again, it is mot'd but i'v not got round to register it yet.
It is in the TT orange coulours.

My reason for selling is simple my back is about gone from a car accident 3 years ago and to kick it up just makes it worse.

PM me your email and ill send you some picks if your intrested.

Thanks Ian.

seen that one on ebay....way overpriced for the condition. There is a good outfit in Derby selling imports and remanufacturing parts....
They are rare, i used to have one many years ago and wish i had kept it...

I am selling my XT500... XT600 frontend, Bilstein shocks rear, TM36 flatslide, stainless steel exhaust, bigbore cylinder (reinforced), hot cam, head work...

I am after 1900 Euros for it or 2.5k if you want all my bits (engines, exhausts, even more carbs, fuel tanks,...) to go with it as well.

Let me know, if I shall send you some pix.

Bike is in Central Europe (Austria).

Cheers,
Greg
