Z1R Pillion footrest bracket
Posted: Sat Feb 13, 2010 12:17 pm
One of the pillion footrest brackets on my Z1R was rusted solid into the mounts. Despite heat, impact engineering,
penetrating oil and much swearing I eventually had to cut through the mounting rubber/bush and the footpeg mount to get it out.
So I need a replacement and while there is one on EBay USA they're wanting £8.92 for the part (ok for NOS that's understandable) but £17.92 to ship it over here!
Sheesh - buying from the States used to be reasonable.
Anyway, it's item no 17 on the diagram. 34029-014 "BRACKET,FOOTREST BAR"
Surface condition (aka rust
) unimportant as it'll be going off to Mikey.
TIA
