Has anyone got and old electronic tacho laying around that they do not need. May be able to get away with a broken unit.

Trying to see what is inside so that I can find a way to recalibrate them for use with some non-standand ignition.

Any help even a circuit diagram would be good as I then have a starting point.

Thanks
Rob

May have to look at that later.

At the moment i do not want to use it, but figure out how they work so that they can be recalibrated if needed when an electronic ignition system is fitted that fire all cylinders at the same time. Hence doubling that revs reported.

My bike fortunatly is cable - this is help for another member.

I have a NOS gpz1100 (the one in the squared dash) £20 plus post if you want it.

Alternatively save all the hassle and do as I did, buy a Stack / SPA unit, programmable for whatever ignition you want to use.
