I am in need of an old master cylinder, I am not worried how bad the bore is or if its scraped and bits missing. I am going to try to salvage the round window for checking fluid level. My master cylinder is OK but I want to powdercoat it. The powdercoat guy is worried the glass might break or fall out when it gets heated up. I will risk having it done but only if I have a spare window I can cut free from the backup m/c. I am hoping any master cyl from any Kawasaki with this type of resevoir will fit. The size of the window is approx 25mm. Jim

Hi hillbilly, here are 2 photos of the master cylinder. If anyone does have a knackered m/cyl with a window in, whatever the model. The size of the recess that it sits in is 25mm. Cheers, Jim

Hiya jim,
just a thought but you can still get the window for the clutch cover. dont know if its the same size or maybe its bigger so can be cut to fit. Though i'm sure someone on here will have a m/cyl

We are thinking of coming over your way sometime in the near future, Stivy, raz and me and stopping at raz's brothers in york. I'll give you a shout and we can all meet up.

That would be good. Theres plenty of pubs to go at. i have found somewhere to get a lens cut, but it refits without the rubber seal and steel ring. I think I can get around it though. Jim
