Hello again guys!

well its been a while, had a pretty poor 2009 as far as the bike was concerned! Had my first knee op in May which took me out the game for a few months, while that was happening i decided to get the bike resprayed a different colour to freshen it up a bit, then when i thought i was back on the road my carbs needed stipping and rebalancing because of some dirt inside the tank...then came another knee op and before i knew it, t'was winter and 2009 was over!

So, over christmas ive been tidying the bike up a bit, got myself a new battery (and optimised charger!) cleaning it up and cant wait to get back on it.

I could do with some bits to just make it look a bit nicer...

Mirror - RH broke off when it got away from me in the garage so RH if poss or both im not fussed. Z-power have some they say are genuine but they are all chrome and I was looking for a black set if poss.

Indicators - all 4 looking a bit tatty tbh - any help appreciated.

Shocks - got a set of koni on at the moment but would prefer the classic style.

Cash waiting folks, thanks in advance

Hi Andy. It`s funny but I was wondering what happened to you the other day. I hope your knee is better now.

Mirrors from Z Power should be the genuine ones at £80. Anything else blur above 50mph !

Indicators are available pattern at about £15 each but I think they are poor quality. Actually shox are available pattern as well but I don`t know how good they are.

Hi chris

had both knees done last year mate, May and Oct...should both be ok in the future.

So can you get the black ones from Z-power? i definately want the black, and as for the other parts...im actually trying to get just decent examples of original parts. My indicators are pretty shot though, too badly pitted to polish up which is a shame.

I dont want my bike to look new really, just old but tidy if that makes sense? :??

Hope to see you out and about this year

I've a set of "as new" pattern black mirrors if your interetsed - however as others say they do "blurr out" at speed whereas the oem ones don't seem to

Cheers

while im thinking about it...does anyone have a front fairing/windscreen that they are not using.

I know you dont see many bikes with them on but I quite like them...ive only recently seen mad max for the first time ever and thought the bikes looked good with them on :P

You're lucky Chris, I have to sit by him every day
It's about time the useless bugger took some interest in the bike again
