Do a (worldwide) search on ebay for a z1000LTD front mudguard. Vary your search terms to include combinations of Z KZ 1000 LTD Fender Mudguard etc and you will eventually find one. I got one from the States a couple of months back for $15. Cost me nearly $50 for postage but still cheaper than most.
I agree they look a lot nicer than those big ugly original ones

Yes, normally you will pay tax )VAT) plus import fees and handling charge. This can be quite expensive for high value items but not such a problem for a fender. I paid $15 for mine but they normally sell for about $50-70. Fees are based on total declared value including shipping. Some sellers mark down a lower price or a gift but this isn't really legal so I would never recommend this

Be aware, that some sellers state they will not mark down the price or put "gift" on the customs declaration.
Four pipes rule, anything else is second best.
