Well just taken the plunge and sent my tankset off to Dream Machine to repaint and really need some hi res images of a standard Z1000-A1 in the Red to make sure they get the correct colour and lining.

Any got a STD bike who can e-mail me some images?

TLC and myself have the red,

How close up do you want the pics and from what angle?

I have a tailpiece which is still in original wine red, it is sun faded on top but the sides and under seat part would be ideal to match to. If that's any use and you want to cover the post I could send it to you, I know how difficult it is to match to a photo.

PJ,
Could you take images as follows: Bike on centre stand.

1. Side view from about 3 feet away with seat up showing the position of
the lining.
2. View from above tank showing lining as it enters beneath the seat area.
3. Same but near headstock.
4. A couple of images that show the colour as best you can.

As many other snaps you can.

Could you e-mail them to me full resolution as photobucket and alike seem to squash them down in size.

No Probs Mike,

Well the only problem is the tank is off at the moment, should be back on tonight, then I have no room in the garage and its persisting down,

so please be patient and hopefully you will have them tomorrow

Image of tailpiece would also be appreciated.

Be careful of colour casts when referring to photographs and also of monitor calibration settings. This is why colours often look different in photos compared to in the flesh (as in pics above). It's not a totally accurate representation.
