gus i stripped a italian d3 twin pipe z1r a few years back and still have the swingarm but its no diffrent from the d1 mod. its been freshly powder coated if you want it.

Kawasaki.com say that the D1 and D3 have different part #'s
D1 (33001-1014) fits
KZ1000-A1 (KZ1000) (1977)
KZ1000-A2 (KZ1000) (1978)

D3 (33001-1079) fits
KZ1000-A3 (KZ1000) (1979)
