Not easy to find originals but they do pop up now and again I was lucky as I had NOS. front and rear for my bike. Pattern ones are available you'll probably have to do it that way whilst looking I still have my old ones I think but they are well scuffed up underneath.

Thanks for the offers, i have others fitted at present, i know they are hard to come by. If anyone has a good R/H footrest i could refurb the ones i have. I do have a pair of UK solid type front footrests to do a deal on if anyone is interested

Thanks again

Harry I don't think they are genuine parts.
How do you refurbish the rubbers?

You carnt actually refurbish the rubber part if it is scuffed and chewed up but you can re-plate the metal part that sticks out of the end

Cycle Parts.com state that they supply original parts.Have a look at their FAQ section.
I went to my plater for him to replate my footpegs. He said that the rubbers needed to come off because his acid would distort the rubber.Didn't seem to do any damage on the battery strap he did though.
By taking off the rubber it will wreck them.
You can't buy the rubbers alone as they were originally bonded onto the peg.

Let us know how you get on.
