One of the boys had one back in the day complete with Pneumant tyres.

He lost the back end and fell off on a sunny day after changing down on a manhole cover

The photos as always make it look way better than reality, but the paint is new, it's a genuine UK bike and it even has a nice reg number if you are interested in that sort of thing *** 1M

A lot of the nuts an bolts are non original, short rear guard, poor chrome on the rims if I remember correctly etc etc, but there aren't too many UK bikes about.

mmm ,front forks and calipers are later z900/1000,chain sprocket cover is incorrect .would need to check this bike really well before parting with that kind of money

That's interesting, I looked at that bike but didn't buy it. I'm still somewhere near the bottom of the learning curve which is a dangerous place to be.

I bought another Z1 and I'm more than happy with it but I still need to learn.

What is wrong with the chain sprocket cover?......I will go check mine and learn something in the process.....what should I be looking for in a z1 cover?
