They have only listed calipers and forks do far.
Listing states the bike is being broken.

Thanks for the info, I've just asked if the frame is available so fingers crossed.

I'm watching the £600 one.

Long way to go for it though, might be worth sourcing transport.

I've tried searches for grumpy 1260 but found nothing. I've also looked at st spares for sale. Think I'll have to look at all the spares.

Thanks for the information.

He has an imported frame no docs, £75 collection only.
John Browse wants £85 plus vat plus £25 delivery, again no docs.

I still like GB's idea of buying a complete bike, and break it.

Blimey, that makes the one in Manchester look mint!

Would I be able to sell the rest of the bike for parts? That's the thing I'm struggling to accept. You can tot up a rough estimate and it all looks rosy but the shafty isn't that special a bike that makes the parts worth selling or even wanted.

Anyone with any thoughts on buying to break? I've done a zx9 and that ended up painful enough!! Should I just buy the frame from John Browse? The longer I wait for a frame the longer the rebuild will take.

If it comes with a V5 I would buy the project bike and split it Nigel. Will save a lot of hassle with registering the bike later and you will have peace of mind. If you can find a project one for £600 or under you should come out the other end ok.

Ian, I was going use the V5 from my Ltd if I ended up with an st frame with no V5. Ltd frame is going to be used for donor tube sections anyway.
