exhaust clamps

Hi,
Guys,bit of a blow,fitting a new 4-1 system on my 75-Z1,but just noticed i have thrown out the clamps that hold the down pipes on to the head.
Has any one some good ones to sell,now the bike is lying in the garage.
please let me know.

Hi dougie.....i have three exhaust clamps spare for a z1000a2....if they will fit your z1, you can have them free of charge. You will only need to find one clamp then.

They will fit but Z1s have 6mm studs and Z1000s have 8mm studs !

Yes Z1s have 6mm exhaust studs (and they sometimes snap!) Later Z clamps look similar but have 8mm studs. They all have the same distance between centres, so you can fit Z1000 clamps to a Z1 but not the other way round.

Funnily enough, a mate of mine gave me a set the other day.

They are not immaculate and one of them has the ends opened up, but they are off his 73 zed 9 and have 6mm holes.

You are welcome to them if you want them.

Drop me a pm with you're address and you can refund me the postage. once you get them.
