Low profile crackcase breather

#1 PostAuthor: Big Fluff » Thu Jan 01, 2009 2:29 pm

Anyone have one to sell ?
I've had to 'cock' the HSR carb on the turbo to miss the breather.
I know Debbens do them for a reasonable price, but as usual I thought I'd see if any members have one up for grabs first.

GPZ ones do the same job and are a fraction of the price, alternatively don't you have a lathe?

I do indeed Rich, but there's not enough wall thickness to machine a groove further up for the 'O'-ring.
I'll price a GPz one up then. I take it you mean the B1/B2 model :?:

Not sure if it's allowable to fit GPz parts to a round cam cover engine

I meant make one from a piece of 12mm alloy plate. real easy to turn up, offset stub for breather out - tap 1/4npt, recess for the mounting bolt, recess internally, put in the o-ring groove.
