Alternator case

#1 PostAuthor: Al » Sat Sep 10, 2016 10:35 am

Looking for a 'cut up' / cut away alternator case. Clearanced' for cornering on the underside only, as in slash cut away below.
It wont have a stator or rotor in it so i think it could be any variant; early, middle, late model as i think they are all the same outer shape!!
Needs to be oil tight as it will be used.

Anyone got anything laying about?

Could do that mod to my Endurance bike now. Didn't you do the mod before?

Deep pockets? A little of Tomforde finest engineering.....

At that price you could get the Electrexworld race alternator. They do a version that lets you keep the starter motor now

Went this way in the end. Not a lot off but its the most you can take and still retain the alternator and rotor inside. Should give a little more leeway and it wont be 'point' contact if it does touch down!
