1972 Z1 Carbs, pipes,

I Know this is a long shot, But I have just acquired (from the US) a fairly early 72 Z1, Frame No. around 1300, it has the wrong Carbs, 4/1 Pipes and wrong seat for starters,
I don't suppose anyone can help?

A guy in the states occasionally sells the early ribless carbs and he normally asks $3,000 for them. You will have to set up an alert on ebay for when he does sell the next set.
Inheritance? What inheritance? He spent it all on booze, women and Zed parts!

There are a set on USA ebay at the moment for $3500.00 and you are in luck as he ships to the UK.

Hi Frank, keep an eye on German and USA Ebay a decent set of early carbs were sold earlier this year for £650, bide your time and you Won't have to pay the earth.

Thanks to a much apprechiated tip off from a forum member I have bought a set of ribless carbs, one slight problem with them is left hand carb body is damaged, so I am looking for just the one now if anybody has one knocking about.
