Looking to get back into the fold..

#1 PostAuthor: kas750 » Sat Feb 27, 2016 7:44 am

Hello Lads, Recently there has been a big change in my life (i'm sure you can guess what :( ) and consequently I have been pretty much bled dry. Hopefully there is some light at the end of the tunnel now though and its time to start again from scratch. :)

So I am now looking to get back into bikes after a couple of years of not owning anything!

Basically I'm looking for a cheap, standard running bike.
Absolutely anything considered as long as I can get it on a classic policy, two stroke or four stroke, british or Japanese.

I don't mind a bit of fettling but full restorations are a thing of the past for me now I think.

I just need the distractions that a bike gives to get my head in the right place again.

Does anyone have a bike that they are thinking of selling?

Cheers

Adrian

Sorry to hear of your ' domestic issues ' Adrian, and I know you've been big into Kawasaki Triples etc but these tend to command big money. For a superb classic bike that you can actually ride on the road and enjoy as well - I don't think you can beat a GPZ900R. Because they were so popular in the day, there are still a lot around for sensible money......this one is a particularly nice example with a £1900 starting bid, although it is located in Ireland ( well worth pursuing though IMO )

Ade

Welcome back pal, always look forwards and make the best of what's in front of you

A very good mate of mine says that these mixed marriages don't work - (he's not a hom) he's really happy being without a woman- maybe that should be - he's really happy without the woman who targeted him to steal his wealth and then go on to target another one- bitch

Happy days ahead
