Brembo rear master cylinder

Has anyone got a spare push rod for this old style Brembo brake?



Failing that I will fit a new R6 one that I have but it means changing the rearsets which I don't want to do.

Has the master cylinder piston got a hole for a push rod to locate in or just flat ?
The old BMW twins with rear discs used a similar master cylinder that was horizontal mounted with a remote reservoir.

It had a short lever that pivoted on a pin that went through the hole near the 81 batch code on your cylinder it converted it to pull on instead of push on.
Is your set up pull on or push on ?
If it is pull on see if you can locate an old BMW one and use the arm/lever.
I had a look on the real OEM site at the BMW part but you cant get the arm/lever as a separate part for some reason.
I have to say that the BMW's rear brake was dreadful using that set up.

IT Looks very similiar to the working of a locheed AP One with a little actuating lever.

After hours of searching and asking questions on various forums I have sussed out its not a push rod its actually a lever!

And the best part is I have found one for sale in Australia

Glad you are sorted.
Don't forget to order the protective boot as well to keep the crap out.
Hope the brake is better than the old BMW twin cylinder bikes they altered the piston size after a couple of years but they were never great and really suffered if you use cheap pads.
