I agree, but they`d have had a lot infill pieces and welding to do then.

well i'll find out on saturday. I have to say the build quality is excellent and i really like an exhaust you can remove without unbolting from the head.

As with all aftermarket exhaust some rejetting might be needed. A dyno session would easily sort any power issues. Generally, the Monaka seems fairly plug and play.
well given my Z1 is 1100 and jetted up anyway i wasn't expecting it to be under jetted.
and the exhaust dave is supplying is not loud - at all.
the Marving I had on before was louder and that was the street legal version.
nice multi part exhaust - silencer, link box, pipes, header connectors all held together with spring clips. The silencer bolts very neatly to the centre stand bracket so if you want to keep a centrestand then its not for you.....
I would say it sits lower that a Harris or a Marving or the stainless exhaust i've got on my Z1R from exhaustcraft.
pays yer money and yer takes yer choice...............

U shore it bolts to the side stand bracket? The short one i heard sounded very loud .maybe they had a differnt baffle in.exhaust pipes have a optimen lenght to achive the most power & very short pipes dont meet that.if youve bought the black paint finish one .a better buy is the real deal moriwaki race pipe for around £ 500 ish mark.which is the pipe the monikas are copied of

That dont look like the short version.silencers way to far out.
Moriwaki pipes were on webike at around 500 ish .they all so had a 10% sale on for other exhausts as well.+ u get free shipping on orders over a certain value.
Best thing is to put every thing u want on ya watch list & they notify u when that part is on at a reduced offer
