Thought about hydro chrome? Should be someone in your neck of the woods that can do that. I had a 650 headlight rim hydro chromed. Results were excellent. Good thing about it is that it can go onto any material so dents scratches etc can all be sorted with primer / filler.
If you give them a piece to match too they add / remove tints to get an exact likeness.

I gave them some years ago with strict instructions of what I wanted.
Picked them up to find the bolts had been over polished to the point of the heads were slightly rounded and the chrome was too thick.
Their answer "oh thats show chrome"
