looking for a good front mudguard for 900 a4, as can not find a plater
near heathrow.

Thought about hydro chrome? Should be someone in your neck of the woods that can do that. I had a 650 headlight rim hydro chromed. Results were excellent. Good thing about it is that it can go onto any material so dents scratches etc can all be sorted with primer / filler.
If you give them a piece to match too they add / remove tints to get an exact likeness.

Have you tried London chrome, they are down the old kent road, done some for me years ago and made a good job of it.

Just don't go near them with Bolts that need a Japanese quality finish.

I gave them some years ago with strict instructions of what I wanted.

Picked them up to find the bolts had been over polished to the point of the heads were slightly rounded and the chrome was too thick.
Their answer "oh thats show chrome"
