20mm swingarm pivot

#1 PostAuthor: Al » Sun Nov 09, 2014 9:28 pm

Need to find a long swingarm pivot (front) in 20mm diameter for the J, standard is 17mm.

Needs to be 310mm long under the head and thread needs to start at 290mm under the head.
20mm of thread or so.
May be a tiny bit of wiggle room there with washers and such.
Would also be very handy if it had a nut but maybe not essential.

WHY.

AL, I'll measure a Zephyr 750 & ZRX 1200 pivot for you tomorrow, they're both 20mm.

Steve looks like you've brought me luck again.
I take it thats a ZRX pivot or wheel spindle??

Is the end of it not in the picture; parallel with a fixed head or with a larger diameter sleeve type nut fixed to it?

PM on its way.

Thanks again

Spindle arrived today many thanks Steve, it looks to be perfect and in great condition as well, and with the nut however my original nut is the same size on its reduced diameter end thread, so a bonus there too.

Brilliant and thank you again.
