Cheap ZZR1100 wanted - now sorted - thanks to all
Does anyone know of a relatively cheap ZZR1100 for sale. I'd like it as a runabout for Z1OC meets etc while I'm rebuilding my Z1B. I need a good runner in reasonable cosmetic condition (I can't afford to run two rebuilds at the same time). Prefer an early model if poss. Many thanks for your time.

Thanks for the tip but I spotted it last night and am watching it already.
Missed one on Monday...I got to the page with 18 seconds left and couldn't get a bid in fast enough (and it was only 30 miles down the road!).

Nope...but I am now the proud owner of a bouncing baby D3...picked it up today and drove back from Watford...that was an experience...I haven't ridden a bike in 15 years!

they are a great all round bike but some of our older mature customers used to complain of back ache & pain in the wrists. so we used to fit a riser kit from a German company that allows you to use conventional handlebar's . we used Kawasaki er 500 bars which raised the riding position about 65 mm & it made the bike so much more enjoyable to ride. the kit consisted of longer cables / throttle / choke. front brake hose / clutch hose & handlebar riser mounts

I'm not getting backache atm but am getting pain in my wrists, particularly the right. I just put that down to now using muscles differently than from before and also the effort to open/close the throttle. Hopefully it will get easier with use but I'll see how it goes. Biggest problem is I can't seem to get my Zimmer frame to stay on the tank without the rubber feet slipping off the side.

Now I've been introduced to the torture that is Photochuckit, herewith a PR shot of me taken by 'er indoors for my adoring fan club (both of him)...

...and notice the side-stand is down so I don't fall over (my right leg has been encased in a bucket of concrete to aid stability).
Does anyone have a spare pair of stabilisers for a ZZR (like the ones I fitted to my daughters bike when she was 5)?
