J or GPz coil bracket

#1 PostAuthor: tlc » Mon Dec 24, 2012 10:55 am

I managed to get a new one of these but am having trouble finding another.
I know they are subject to cracking hence they are quite hard to find.

Does anyone have one lying about? I could weld up a cracked one if that is all there is.

Many thanks.

Pretty sure i have one in the garage.
If its not an original bike then suggest you do like PO did to mine and make new ones from flat dural plate 8mm thick.

I'll have a looksee.

Chris,

I have some badly repaired one's you can have if Al can't help you, but like he said perhaps the best way forward is to make some new from ally plate.
I had a Z1000J/Lawson clone pass through my hands a couple of years back with the same mod as Al suggests.
