Paul - I put exactly the same request on here about 3 months ago and got no response at all.

I think this is the clip you are looking for

I sourced it in the States from one of the specialist suppliers - it is a NOS item and cost a couple of dollars.

If this is what you are after I will see if I can find the details for you.

i bought the pipe (new) from z1parts.net and it came with a new clip - not sure if this helps.

Yeah had seen that, but thought someone might have one kicking around.

Had one on before i stripped the engine and its possibly around somewhere but i've looked everywhere for it and no luck.
