Not got an exhaust to offer you fuknuckle, but I spoke to these peeps at Stafford http://www.camcoat.com/main/site/
Had already heard loads of positive things about them, but thought they would cost the earth. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they will coat a 4-1 system (no silencer) for £150.00
With that in mind, it might be worth something cheap & tatty, then having it re-coated.

Would be good to see some pics of your bike in the projects section.

I am also planning to fit a GPz1100 engine into a J frame. I hope to run the fuel injection + fit modern wheels & brakes...... Just need to finish me snotter first!

Good luck.

If it's a harris type exhaust you want then check out this guy http://www.exhaustcraft.co.uk/
he posts on here & there are several members who have his system fitted, and I think I'm right in saying they're all very happy.
