Need a Z900 speedometer drive

#1 PostAuthor: Phil50 » Thu Sep 24, 2009 11:43 pm

Hi all
Anyone got a working for sale speedo drive for a Z900 or know how to refurb mine? It works perfectly until I hit 65mph and then starts dancing like a drunken lunatic. The speedo is Ok and has been refurbished recently.
thanks
Phil

It was rebuilt by Al Marshall and tested at 90mph with no problem.

Just a thought have you tried a new/different cable or even take it apart and give it a good clean sounds daft but I cured a similar situation a couple of years ago by doing this
