Well... That was bracing....

First proper outing of the year for the MaineKZ. Lovely Sunday afternoon spin round the Cotswolds.

looked like Spring - only 10 degrees colder... Still, when the sun shone there's nothing else I'd rather be doing.

Feels great to have the Thou back in the UK and being used as it should be. Also a nice change to have a 'rider' that I don't have to fret over all the time.

And, like I always say, if you photograph the Thou well, she's not a bad looking old girl

Came across these shots of the MaineKZ the summer I bought her back in 2006.
Those zorsts were horrible and, put together with the K&N pods, she ran like a pig, but at least she ran...
Strictly between us... that seat was the most comfortable thing I've ever ridden on. But it still had to die. Sissy bar... no comment.
Anyhow, a few shots taken during high summer in Maine, up in the hills around Rangeley...

It rained in Malton. Lots. But my new oil cooler hose and fittings arrived so it was ok, plus it's washing away the salt... :D
