Managed to get the bike out for a quick spin to check all oil tight after changing the covers over.

The relationship between the bottom shock mounts and axle mount jacks the back end up a bit so the shocks are actually 10mm shorter than normal at 340mm. Plus the rear tail panel mount is angled up slightly to lift the panel up rather than sit flat so the rear has that kick up look without ruining the steering.

Front wheel is a standard Z1000A1 one at the moment with Z1R discs to be replaced with a Z1B one once I have refurbished the Z1B forks I bought recently.

The rear hub is from a Z750 twin with stainless spokes, 4 and a quarter alloy rim 160 tyre and Z1R disc built up for me by CWC. The caliper is a GSX1400 one. The wheel spacers and hanger were made for me by Simon Francis excellent work and yes I am going to paint the hanger black. :lol:

Tail tidy is the same as the ones Hobbo makes see link below
