Great day out at Lakeside

Some great bikes, obviously love the RG500 and Harris framed Zeds.
Never see the bigger fuel tank on the Z900 before.

This GPz900 did real well against the Harris bikes, got battered down the straight by a 851

Just to prove you don't need money to enjoy yourself, there was also a 90 year old lady on a CB125, good on her!

There was a guy in Melbourne in the late 70's early 80's who modified loads fuel tanks for GS shafties ( for rally boys ) and Z1R D1's ( coz their tank size was useless in Oz ), it is featured in a mag at the time, think l have mag, l'll find if l get time. Very surprised not more of these have surfaced over the years.
