Monday and Tuesday trackdays with my local club.

Not much to show but lots to say.

Segale framed J motor holding his own in the fast/ experienced group.

Just one of about five packed garages.

J framed J motor holding up the novice group :D
Rolling roadblock, taking every wide line and chopping every corner.
With the carnage that was going on i am surprised someone didnt bounce me off the track on purpose.
Only went off twice but managed to keep it sunny side up.

New conti attack CR2 trashed whilst trying to get the slow lap record:shock:

Bit of my usual grainy video of a small part of the fast group on day two from the garage roof.

All in all a very extreme way to spend a couple of days.

Had a wee visit from KWAKERZ1 (Phil) which was very welcome and a good chance to talk through what was going on

Excellent Al, so that Segale framed Kwak goes as well as is looks then - remember seeing it at Donnington in the pits a couple of years back but didn't see it run.
Your 'J' really is looking top notch there :drool

Thanks, it goes as well as it looks.
Its a frame engine and a bit of fibre-glass. Swingarm is magnesium. It has no starter, alternator, much wiring, tiny battery, no air filters, paint on the frame or much else for that matter. Mine is made of solid lead and it looks like i spent the last six months deleting what little handling the J almost had :D

Good effort Al, you've actually managed to make a J look half decent! Sounds like you had a great couple of days, and well done for not binning it, how does it handle/stop compared to before?

Thanks Andy almost had me believing you were serious for one second.

Handling was vague but predictably dangerous before, now its just damn dangerous. I blame the wheel i got from a scally in Woking :D

Content of the Tuesday morning briefing / lecture;

On Monday there were 14 offs. 10
resulted in trips to the med centre.
Three of those offs happened after the
chequered flag. One was an instructor.
Several people got sin binned. I think
one or two may have been sent home but
not certain. No set of three sessions (novice inters and fast group)
finished without a red flag in one or another.
They said there were more 'events' on
Monday than on all the days put together
in the last two years.
They got severely bollocked by
Rockingham management and we got it
first thing Tuesday morning.
I narrowly avoided being run off twice,
nearly lost the front end twice, went
off the track twice, broke down once and
saw numerous people fall or go off.
Carnage was not the word for it.

Heres some onboard footage from one of
the OMCC sponsored racers.
At the end there is the high side which
sat one of the instructors on his butt.
