BLACKPOOL ROCK

#1 PostAuthor: Jay1969 » Fri May 23, 2014 10:09 pm

Been to Blackpool and back again today. Arrived at 2pm at David's (HIGGSPEED) and bought a practical good condition ready to ride,
taxed and mot'd Z900 A4, and got a nice stick of 'Kawasaki Blackpool Rock' from him too :D
(which I won't ever eat, but keep as a keepsake).

It was great to meet David, and I'm very pleased with the bike, which
is reliable and runs smoothly and coped well in the heavy rain that it
went through from junction 26 on the M6 for at least 40 miles, then
continued to rain lightly most of the remainder of the 3 'n' half hour journey.

A very happy Jay meeting the famous David "Higgspeed".

A nice looking Zed (well apart from the Sito's!!).
You know that anyway!!

A really good run for it's maiden voyage too.

Jimmock,
Thanks for being gentle with me about the 'zorsts
on my new Zed
:up

I reiterated your request to David for you if he would consider making
stainless replica's of the Z1 / Z900 A4 original 'zorsts.
He said he'd prefer to make replica's of the Z1000 A's
4 into 2 systems because Doremi don't make them,
and you know how rare the Z1000 A's standard 'zorst
systems are :!:

Hopefully David will make them soon.
If he sells loads of the thou systems, maybe he will consider 4-4's.

Will be updating on that a.s.a.p. I'm keen to carry on with it!

Exhausts on this one will be changed eventually, maybe
during winter. Just gonna ride this as is through summer, then
make some improvements.
