Historic Vehicle Run

Put my bike in for this years Historic Vehicle Run from Ipswich to Felixstowe today. this is me going past my house - the missus took the picture on her iPad.
In previous years I have always been irritated by the amount of British tin going past so decided to put the Kawasaki cat amongst the Triumph/Norton/BSA pigeons. I was not the only one - nice H1 and H2 in the ride out - but both done a head gasket on the ride...
There was a nice KH400 on the ride too
And a flying coffin - a Norton featherbed frame with a Vincent engine and a wooden ducktail - weird...( and the A4 out paced it off a drag start in Trimley...)
Could not resist taking a picture of this - a Carrol Shelby 350 GT Mustang. I had a '68 289 "Bullett"fastback back in the day...
And finally to prove that the saying "You cannot polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter" is true, here is the proof
