GotaZ1B gave me a call on Wednesday and suggested a run to Bentley Bike night. These are a few of the several hundred bikes that were there - a selection of old Kawas and a few unusual bikes that only come out in nice weather.....

Question for the longer serving members of the Club - do you recognise/remember the club member with the pony tail???

Great pics Bill!

I keep meaning to get other there myself! And it was definitely the weather for it!!

I recently did a repair job on the side panels of the silver and purple RD400 special, it's a lovely bike, everything was made and polished by himself, including the spannies!

Bill the Z1 owner you asked about is Arnie Taylor from Colchester in Essex and the Z1B in picture No.3 is his,

Arnie is the area rep for Essex and used to run a Suffolk Rally for the club,A Rally i have attended 3 times{I think}

The grey H1 was at the Ace Cafe a couple of weeks back and it is lovely.

+1 there :lol:

Like the flying Merkel, the RD400 has had a lot of work put into it but a bit to 'blingy' for me.

Yeah thats deffo Arnie.
The beauty of his ZeD is that the paint work is original but faded.
Hence the "Flip/Flop" effect. Remember seeing it at Suffolk 2001 i did query Arnie about it hence.
Some nice bikes there, Merkel is Killer.
The gold wang is deffo PAULINE :!:

The yellow Zed was for sale at the Suffolk VJMC show a couple of weeks ago and I think the Flying merkel was at the Festival of a 1000 bikes.
