Looks great that
Seen a few Zephyrs painted in Z1 colours over the years, really suits them.
[quote="kev edwards" I KNOW IT'S NOT A BIG ZED, BUT MY BODY IS FAILING and it wont be long before i'm down to a Z200 with Z1 styling.[/quote]
Made me smile that, like that meself these days - i'm wearing out rapidly!!

That paintset is a nice improvement to the std Zephyr. I have a D3 with the wire wheels in that colour. When I sort out some standard exhausts I will have to come up from Dover and find you. Mine has the colour coded grabrail as well.

be good to meet up sometime
Sandy bikes in bedfordshire do stainless downpipes for these not cheap but good though.
Mine is the colour coded grab rail also, but it had a few chips in it, so i rubbed the paint off the top edges and polished it a bit and gave it a coat of laquer the front muddy also has black sides as one side where it mounts was busted so i repaired it as temporary measure with fibre glass.
I've also tried to enlarge photo 2 to see what it says on the van but to no avail, so we will stick with the Taffus tag for it.

Kawasaki made wire wheels an option on the last 'D' models and I managed to pick a set up from a breakers, sadly they really needed a re-lace and re-chrome so I just had them powder coated.

Yes thats the bodywork Steve, i was well chuffed with what i got for the blue bodywork and i still have the handrail and muddy, i repaird the broken muddy with fibreglass and sprayed the sides black it'll do until i get a ltd chrome one, the handrail i rubbed the paint off the outer face polished and laquered it.
