Went along to the VJMC jumble today...after a very cold start it turned out to be a great day with a few sellers selling Zed parts (most of it Z650) :D

Anyway some pics of the Zeds that were for sale (the first two) and some of the Zeds that people turned up on...i really like the highly modified Z1A.

I also brought i think was a bargin...apart for Mikeys Z650 bottom half of a engine...i saw a Z650 tank that the badges had been filled in...but on closer inspection i could just see two very faint lines were the badges should be...as i couldn't look inside the tank to see what it was like as the filler cap was nackered and held in place by a rusty nail, i took a chance and got the tank for £25.00 quid.

On getting tank home it only took a minute to get the cap off so i could see in side.

And low and behold i could see two ridges inside :D :D meaning i had just got a very rear Z650b2 tank for £25.00 :D :D :D

I quickly got the blow torch out and heated up the filler which just fell out of he badge recesses...not quite sure what i'm going to do with the tank yet, i might just it blasted and primed at Cox'es and it will sit up in my Zed room until i know what i'm going to do with it.

Those recessed badge tanks were fitted on the C1 as well.
