Highlights of Isle of wight,
a) The needles
b) Backgang chine, with its giant plastic dinosaurs http://www.blackgangchine.com/index.php
c) alum bay, for coloured sand
d) HMP Parkhurst
e) Carisbrooke castle

In my opinion the west half of island is prettier than the east.

Waxworks at Brading is quite good. also Godshill model village is worth a look too, good scrumpy sold in pub across the road as a bonus (don't remember its name but it has a thatched kangaroo on the roof, honest)).
