Must find some tasselled bags for the Z……….
And a cut off jean jacket with a Z1OC back patch.

It's not looking good....
Tis sunny on the south coast, but for how long - who knows !
I'm going to be dodging the rain and be there. I'll be wearing a Suzuki paddock jacket and riding a 1982 shovelhead. If you see anyone with a tassel or a HOG badge, it's not me.
Cheers,
Mark.

I had a Harley once, the bike was ok once you learned how to steer it in corners. I went to one of the local club open days, hardly anyone would speak to new members. Seems to me there's a lot of snobbery in the Harley world, they wouldn't bother with you if your bike was worth less than theirs. They all seemed to compete as to who had the most expensive bike and bling. Not for me I'm afraid.
If at first you don't succeed, try and try again. Then quit. There's no point in being a damn fool about it.

You could always buy a Harley![]()
I've got 3, and 2 zeds and a Suzuki GS1000, I just suggested that as the new Harley dealer was organising a BIKE night it would be good to see some zeds, I gave a way to identify me, neither me nor anyone I know would have been "snobby" but there have been, hypocritically, some right snobby comments about why you wouldn't go to a bike night organised by a Harley dealer.
There's fuck all else going on in Berkshire, no Kawasaki or any other dealer doing a bike night and certainly no z1owners meet.
So shoot me for trying, shan't bother again.
Cheers,
Mark.

Unfortunately i didn't make it this time, good to hear there were other bikes there, having owned 3 previous harleys i can kinda understand what people are saying, but tbh I just do my own thing anyway whatever bike I'm riding, the manager of this dealership used to work at Guildford Harley & he is an ok bloke & just likes bikes in general, tbh I think that is why he is trying to promote a bike night & not just exclusive to Harleys, at least he is trying to break away from the 'norm'
