If life began at 40, what's supposed to happen now....? (Am I supposed to sell all my bikes I wonder)....
I was 54 when I bought mine
Thanx to all,
Life goes on and I'll look to my 'elders' and just do what I can for as long as I can. Feeling inspired....

Get on wi ya lad, 50 is the new 40. I don't wish to boast as I am still getting enough stick from having wooden shock absorbers (no pun intended), but I suffered from angina for nearly 20 years. The NHS told me it was arthritis so bog off.
On my 51st Birthday I was unable to walk upstairs without stopping half way to let the chest pain go down. I went private and had a triple heart bypass op - cost me a bloody fortune but well worth it. Then started walking about wherever I pleased, including Mam Tor and other peaks around the area.
On the 23rd August 2013 I raised £2,084.75 for the NSPCC by walking up Ben Nevis. Took 12 hours up and back, and couldn't walk for a week afterwards, but what a rush!!

Rocky style Air Punching on the trig point.

Get out there and enjoy yourself

Oh, and I bought a Zed as well - Boo Yeahh

Well done Richard. You've achieved many things, and will probably achieve much more with that positivity. I have had no issues to deal with so far and live healthily, and feel glad to have made it this far. But, never say never, I dont know what lies around the next corner, but I get inspiration from people still working into there 70's and beyond. Like I say, must enjoy the ride while I can.
