Limited Gets It's First Run

#1 PostAuthor: Hinckley » Tue Jul 23, 2013 12:23 pm

Nice to finally get out and about, first class job from the DVLA, registration took less than a week!

Carbs still not arrived from Allens, but the misfire is in a narrow band 2400 - 2600rpm and not so bad when hot.

The ride quality is better than expected although pot holes are best avoided! spot on riding position - the new saddle is very comfortable.

Handling is a tad unique - the high bars will take a bit of getting used to, low speed is very good, however turn in at speed under power is somewhat interesting.

The V&H pipe sounds so much better than the Jardine pipes, the motor makes good power with much more torque than expected.

Still got cramp in the fingers from the brakes - they work very well and are bedding in nicely - but require much hand pressure.

Thankfully the wife loves it...... but doesn't have a bike licence
