Smogtastic.....

Got the 72 'H' mostly back together today so as she hasn't run for a few months I though I'd bring her out of the garage, stick some fresh fuel in and get her going.

Anyway, after 3 kicks she fired up and over the next few minutes the garden filled with a rather nice smog that can only come from a 2-Stroke.

And running (scratch & sniff)......

Sadly though my smug satisfaction was some what tempered by the fact that just to the left of the exhaust out of picture shot some soft Tw@t had left the kitchen window wide open and our house now smells like an explosion in a 2-Stroke factory!.

That's lovely, and don't worry about the smell in the kitchen, this is what i have hanging in our third bedroom and they have been used, wifey moans about the carbon smell but they are going nowhere.

Garry that looks stunning - love it. :drool
I've recently bought an H1F project: she's a bit rough; but your bike reminds me what a cracking example can look like.

Cheers Tim

That's stunning Garry and whilst I'm not a generally a two stroker fan I do love the classic lines of H1 and H2s!

Cheers

Thanks for the nice comments people - I'm deeply touched (as you know)

Still some stuff to do, one of which is as she's a 72 she would have come with a nice B&W rear AND front number plate..... :D

Sorry Tim, only just noticed your post.

To be honest My H1 was little more that a tidy up and swap out some wrong US stuff it had fitted.

Your F is the last H1 as such before KHI changed to the A8 (KH500) but other than a few cosmetic/ trim type changes that are all pretty similar.

Here's a few more pic's if it's of any help....

I've loads to do on mine, still trtying to acquire some of the unobtanium missing bits before I can crack on with the resto.
Your piant looks very nice (did my Z1300 in burnt candy lime) - who did your paint set ?

Cheers Tim
