My old mate Wazza (78 years old) wanted me to follow him while he took his newly purchased 851 back for some minor adjustments, he has 8 Ducati's now!
So me being the nice bloke I am did, we pulled up at Tony's bike shop and I went to put the kettle on, after a brew and a chat the lads started to work on Wazza's Duke, I thought I'd go and have a chat with Simon who owns a bike shop a couple of doors away. Knowing I like my 80's Kawasaki's he said "wait till you see this one" and led me to a GPz750 Turbo that he has just imported from Japan, 16,000km, totally original and starts on the button with no smoke! The only non original bits are a couple of screws and someone has painted the inner front discs red! Did a deal that included the missing belly pan and a 916 rear seat cowl with lights, altogether $6,000 Australian, can't grumble at that and its one that I wanted as a kid so ticks one box!

Need to update that. Please add Bimota SB6R. GPz will be for sale after Cadwell though. Still no competition for that Norton! That's a body part for sale to get one of those!

Just googled it and it is, keep me in mind as that would complete the set like the picture on one of the old brochures

My GPz is far from standard and I thought you went for the stock look? There was a guy on the GPz owners group on Facebook who was talking about selling his 1100 UT and that did look really good and very stock.
here's mine
Motor and chassis built by Team Glam Racing but never used. I only use it for track days and boy does it both handle and fly! Probably one of those bikes that is worth far more as parts than as a whole!
