no worrys if this is not ok but my work colleague fas heard me talk of the amount of knowledge you guys have. his work car (petrol) is rattling and i suggested redex to maybe quieten in down, but he asked if i would pose the question on here of whether there is something better. No problem at all if its too far off for this site, i just said i asked.

i believe with older (70's) cars you could put a special oil in thats a bit thicker and would take up the slack but this is a 98 and =of these newish engine styles.

He could try slick 50 a mate put some in a megane and it did quieten it down

My dad was whinging about his Jag. Newish at the time, took me for a drive saying "can you hear rattle? "I said" try it now". He did, "What was it?" "This cd case in the passenger pocket!"
and it had been back to Jaguar twice!
