Nice one, well shot too. Can see why Cornwall is such a draw with roads and views like those. And looked liked the St Ives were waiting for you...! And after my Bullet I was going to buy an MT500, but it never happened. They all looked perfect. You're blessed down there you are..😑

im looking at a bullet after the mt500 believe it or not. I am presently bobber/trackering the mt500, bit by bit whilst riding it.

My neighbour has a 2004 Bullet 500..... from new

A couple of things to watch:

Points are a real PITA... he converted to electronic & runs much better.
The main power feed goes thru' the ammeter - his loosened off and wouldn't start.
Most of the threads are made of cheese - not cheddar but Dairy Lea :!:

Great little bikes though, +80mpg

thanks Piggy, ive been advised away from the newer leccy start bikes because of the electrics, ive become quite skilled at kick starting stubborn 500 singles whilst owning this mt500  :grr  always good to be given pointers :bow

I like the box on your MT. I carried plenty of spares, and some on my Bullet. 'Be Prepared' is the key..?. It's not 'If', but a case of 'When' you'll be carrying out emergency roadside surgery..!...but overall, it's one of those more-smiles-per-hour bikes. Great fun.
And we all know Zed bits can be pricey, but wait until you see the Hitchcock's catalogue for all things RE. 😉
