WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST BIKE?

#1 PostAuthor: AERIAL0 » Thu Nov 13, 2014 6:14 pm

Hi to all fellow members. With being new to the forum would like to be informed how you all started on the road to be a biker in your youth and what was the first bike you owned.
Mine at the age of 16 (43 years ago) and sorry to say H**** CB160. Purchased for £60 and had never rode a bike before. Hence dropped it and bent the footrest. Wish I still had as fetching a lot of wonga. Sorry to say no photo's but do have the memory's.
What did you have?

Suzuki GT125. Went well for the first 20 miles then got slower and slower ! Had a lovely non grippy square section Avon rear tyre which was great for learning bike skid control techniques

BSA Bantam when I was 9 :D

First on the road was an AP50, brand new on HP, followed by my first real bike, a GT 185 - loved that bike, had it for years :)
