Got all the bikes out today, fuel in and started them, left them running for a heat cycle , gave them the once over and filled the tyres.
19 days to go before I get my licence back

Can't bloody wait!

				Great collection there Ian .
It's a pity that the weather wasn't a bit nicer

I counted the days up to halfway , then counted them back down to D Day .
Didn't seem quite as long then

 Enjoy

The lads went out this morning, went with them the other week in a sidecar which was a great laugh but not the same! At least I've had six months to fix all the little bits you just live with!

I went for a ride with the lads one Sunday morning, had my daughter on the back so wasn't going mad. It was 7:40am in the middle of nowhere and we had just turned left on a straight which doesn't have any roads joining it, my 76 year old mate give his Ducati a big handful so it did the same and accelerated up to 141km/h! Next thing blue flashing lights in front of me, watched the cop car pass me and turn round so decided to pull over and wait for them, my mate just accelerated and didn't stop! I was doing 41 km/h over the speed limit, 40km/h over the speed limit is an instant ban! I managed to get a 'work licence' which allows me to drive my car between 6am to 8pm weekdays.
Gone quite quick really and I've redone to front yard, you can see the new concrete in the picture

did the crime, did the time. sorry that wasnt meant to rhyme

, neither was that
back in the day i never registered any bike so i never got caught. bit different now, but luckily i havnt pulled a ticket. I did manage a 12 month ban in 85 because i smashed the bike up and had nothing to get away on

wouldnt drink and drive these days though, dont touch the stuff so cant get over the limit.
